Keto getting you Macronutrients Right?

Ideally, you should be eating:

  • Ketogenic Calculator

  • 5-10% of calories from carbs (net carbs). Typically, 20-30 grams of net carbs is recommended to start with.

  • 15-30% of calories from protein and

  • 60-75% of calories from fat. If y

  • our goal is to lose weight, your fat intake might even go below 60%. Fat is used as a “filler” and should make up the remaining calories.

  • Food Tracker App: I use the Lose it App but if I could do it again I would go with My Fitness Pal

  • Food Scale – I just bought one after 3 weeks it makes things more accurate to track I bought mine at Costco because it was on sale for $15.00

  • Activity Tracker: like Fitbit I don’t wear jewelry not even my wedding ring so wearing a fitbit is off the table for me so my husband bought me a tracker I could clip to my shoe I lost it after 2 weeks . I don’t always carry my phone in my pocket so tracker on the phone isn’t accurate still looking for a work around.
