We took our first hike to Pumpkin rock on a Friday the second week of October around 5pm. With Covid getting out into nature has helped feel less isolated . Mother nature has been are best coping mechanism so far. Pumpkin Rock Trail is a 1.7 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Norco, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.

there are muiltiple areas to get to pumpkin rock here are two we found:
Following directions you will see a pull out on the right for about 4 cars near the golf course this is the harder trail that is steep at times.
If you keep going past into the neighborhood and make a right at the bottom of the hill there is a round about area that is the easier hiking trail.
We are really into murals and street art at the moment so the stories we made up or discussion what was drawn or written started a great conversation.
The view is amazing
Our boys are almost 9 years apart so the only time I see them really hanging out is when we hike or camp so I look forward to these outings. Its a good pokemon hutting spot too.
Finding and or creating Joy in nature makes me a better person. I feel more grounded and less stressed.
